Robert Lush Woollacott

Started work as a Bankers Clerk (presumably at Cox’s/Lloyds) and than joined The Metropolitan  Water Board as a Rates Collector.  He married Nanette Rogers and they had 2 sons. His eldest grandchild could not say Grandpa and called him Umpa.  This became his name and throughout the rest of his long life no one called him anything else.  He was a keen gardener and photographer.  After an accident stepping on a garden rake he lost the sight of one eye and eventually the other.
